Hey guys just yesterday I changed my ICM and now the tach jumps when the car gets over 4000. Before I had a MSD digital 6+ and SS coil then converted back to the stock jdm 98 h22 internal coil and replaced the ICM and this happened. Before on the MSD I had no problems. Once the car gets to 4000 the tach jumps forward and backwards but it doesnt feel like the clutch is slipping. Only thing I touched was the blue tach wire. No CELs. Any idea whats going on? This is in a 96 accord if it matters

 

inspect your wiring.

 

what wiring is there to do? (+) and (-) go back to the internal coil. then those 4 plugs all go to the new ICM. thats it.

 

dont know about yours but maybe you can help me when i turn and and stop i am getting a big dip in rpms and sometimes when i turn hard going slow the car cuts off. Any ideas

 

Not sure about your problem but looks like my ICM died again after just 2 days of use.....car died in the road. have to return and get another one tomorrow. Damn Autozone
