What would it take to beat a camaro or mustang gt with my civic? I/h/e with nitrous, FI, just I/H/E by itself,etc. I have the SOHC VTEC engine but is quite anemic right now.

Where is the best place to get those from I have seen prices at $5,000 for those motors? But then I saw that someone on here got a J-spec H22a for about $2100, is there some special place or what?

 

The cheapest way would be to swap in a B18B and turbo it, or B18C and a 50-shot. I'm not sure on the engines, do a search in the Hybrid forum.

Nope.

The h22 is 2100 because there is some custom work that needs to be done in order to swap it in to a civic. And when the swap is done it not really a good daily driver.

Do a engine swap and turbo it you will keep up with the camaro and probably beat the mustang.

P30 pistons
some quick porting
some nice cams
a header
cam gears
tuning
driving school
street slicks and be done with asking such questions

 

Then a really nice crown, a queen and possibly a throne, castle and a jester here and there.
