Title says code 2, but post says code 3.

???

A code 2 is for an oxygen sensor "B" and isn't applicable to any 92-95 Civic, but I suppose it could be a jumped code on an OBD2 96-00 Civic?

Code 3 is MAP sensor, and yes they can go bad. Check the plug and wiring to the sensor, and if need be, swap another one on from another vehicle.

Year, make, and model of your vehicle would help us help you much better, as would the exact code you're throwing.

Is this a new code that has just popped up, or a code that has been there since the swap?

Have you tried swapping in a good known working MAP sensor?

If you have a MAP problem the car will stall, run like crap, etc.

Ima take it off in a lil while and inspect it, and make sure the lil o ring on the sensor looks ok

A faulty MAP sensor will make your car run like ****, yes.

Seeing as the problems are typical of a bad and/or faulty MAP sensor, and seeing as you're throwing the code for a MAP sensor, I would change the MAP sensor...and yes, they do go bad.

Just my $.02 though.
