89 civic surging and stalling
I have an 1989 honda civic and it has started surging at idle. This has gone on for a few months we repalced the map sensor and it is not as bad but it is still doing it. I now have a new problem
the car will stall and the only way I am able to get it start is to unscrew the lid that says pgm-fi (sorry i don't know the right name) spray starting fluid in there and it will start. It will run fine for a couple of days and then it will happen again. Any ideas???

Replace main relay assembly. 39400-SH3-003. Or you could try the whole soldering repair method everybody on here does. Check to see if you have a code 16. If you do, the main relay is your problem. (Very common problem)
