Hey i'm planning on slappin' a turbo onto my dohc zc... however im a broke *** **** so i was wondering would you guys trust a ebay turbo kit? im just gonna use this for 1-2 years until i save up for another car..

 

no, build up a junk yard turbo kit, not as easy but will be more reliable

x2 on that, you can get everything you need for a couple hundred bucks if you shop around, and it will be made by you, for you, fit to your needs and the way you want it to be setup. Old boosted cars in the junkyard have made a couple turbo civic projects for me in the past.

 

ebay may be cheaper now but in the long run you will most likely replace every part you buy from the ebay kit....do it once the right way youll be a lot happier

There are plenty of people on H-T getting rid of their single cam or ZC setups for super cheap. You just have to do some searching. You will appreciate it way more than hitting that "Buy it now" button on those 700 turbo kits...
