Default B16 won't start on OBD1 conversion..

I first had problem with the engine harness that was converted to OBD1, so I decided to reuse my stock OBD0 89 HF engine harness with a low impedence fuel injector + the resistor Box. The distributor I’m using is a 95 GSR and it is connected with the OBD0 to OBD1 distributor adapter. I now have spark and fuel but the motor won’t fire up. I scratch my head and decide to run it OBD0 with a PR3 ECU and TD22U Distributor and it fire up. Of course it’s running rough because I have the 4 wire O2 sensor instead of 2 1 wire O2 sensor but what makes my OBD1 conversion not fire UP? I have a good working USDM P30 ECU (already tested on my friends car) and a brand new VTEC distributor that was also tested in my friends B16. For the ECU jumper harness I purchased it from Locashracing.com http://locashracing.com/store/...id=39

I’m a little lost and I really want my CRX pass the California REF. Any help will be grateful.

Sort of off subject but aren't all the refs closed until further notice? Without them, how will you get the BAR label without a referee to go to?

Shoot I'm actually thinking about pulling my stuff, don't want to get caught. I mean if you get caught, what happens if you can't get a ref ticket? Anyways good luck with the swap, wish I could offer assistance on your issues. By the way did you ever find the GSR timing cover?

Man this is pissing me off. I switch the computer and the distributor to OBD0, it fires up in one try. Now i'm just thinking my jumper harness is bad or something.

I switch the fuel injector with a OBD1 and remove the resister box but still won't fire up. I mean it's trying to start and if it does, it only stays on for about a second.

OK solve the Problem and the damn ecu jumper harness was bad. I tested out with the another harness from Rywire.com and it fired up in one try.

I guess DON'T buy from locashracing.com

I bet locashracing has been doing obd1 conversions since before you were legal to drive.

Sounds like a case of '**** happens'.
