You could always cut the terminal connector off and resolder some bigger ends on.

You can get a Hamp battery for $75 at JHPUSA. Just google them. Hamp is compact and made by Honda. They use JDM battery terminals.

I don't know why people have to be shady about where to buy a battery and only give the info out in PM's If you know where a place is, just say where. that way other people can find out without have to go through the PM'ing BS. It's just a battery, not some super sweet secret part!

BTW, ICB motorsport has some of the HAMP batteries in stock.

But you need to make sure you get the correct one from where ever you order it from. As they make 2 different kinds of batteries. One with a positive terminal on the left and one with it on the right. Make sure you order the one that came in your car.

I was wondering why people didn't post where to get them from, but only said through pm's!! You can get Hamp battery from a few places.

Your guess is as good as mine. It's dumb, I guess they think their batteries are that special, that only a select few can know where they are!

No, I dont think the place I can get them is special at all. Its local to me and has both styles in stock you spoke of. Hoping to help the guy who made the post get what he needs.

For the past 5 months I have been working/restoring stealthycivicsi 98 CTR and we just happen to come across a place local to us that has them on the shelf in dry cell form. They are easy to ship and we thought it was a decent deal. Its Toby's Battery here in spokane. They dont have a website.

That's fine that you are helping out the OP, but what about the other people who may have the same question but don't want to start a new thread about it. It is just nice to that info in the thread from the get go. That way we can maybe keep some of these repeat threads down.

So the batteries that they have there, have the Japanese terminals and are a dry cell? What is the weight of them? I currently have the HAMP one, but if it is lighter, then it might be a welcome addition.

i have also tried jdmcarboy, but they are out of stock too, and if they have it they wont ship it either. Still out of luck... didnt think it would be that hard to get a battery for that car.

Get a buddy club!! I just picked one up from inlinefour yesterday! I got it for $130 since they tried to match Evasive motorsports price of $125, but I rather pick up then wait for shipping. Evasive has one left in stock for $125. you can just change out the terminals.
