JDM GSR Crower Stage2 Cams
i got a jdm gsr with a stock block .. want to build the head .. got all of the bolt ons like i/im/h/e
i was thinking of getting the crower stage 2 n/a camshaft and type r springs .. should it make good power ?? im going to be running on hondata s300 .. let me noe if anyone has a similar setup with them cams.

why is that .. ITR will work just as good .. they are dual springs all i need is the other half becus gsr comes half dual ... im not revving it up to 10k rpm jus the stock 8200 .. why pay more for after market wen itr will work the same
the ITR springs are great with the 401 cams but not the 402's the 402s have faster ramps and slightly more lift. they also are a cam that will make power above the point you want to spin type r's. the crower springs don't cost much more than R's just get the right spring for the cam, you won't be sorry. if you want to stay around 8400rpm which isn't a bad idea on a stock GSR short block my vote is to just use the 401's. many people have hit 180whp+ with 401 cams. another perk is the JDM GSR compression is nearly ideal for 401s it would work with 402's but as a rule more duration requires more compression.
