FYI, crank = turn over.

Do you mean the motor cranks over, but doesn't start? You need to start your process of elimination...check spark, check fuel, check compression.

Always do the common sense diagnostics and post the results along with the problem you're having so we can better understand the issue and offer better advice.

Also...if the motor is a jdm h22a, you should be using a jdm p13 ecu. Always use the ecu made for the motor, unless of course you go with a chipped ecu and a tune.

Edit: You're using an obd-2 motor in an obd-1 car with an obd-1 harness? Or is the motor an obd-1 jdm h22a? If it's obd-1 and you're using the obd-1 h23a harness, what did you do with the distributor wiring? You can't just run the jdm h22a distributor on the h23a harness because the h23a harness is made for an external coil distributor when the h22a distributor is internal coil. You need to take the h23a harness external coil plug and put a fuse in it to connect the blue and yellow wires(I think those are the colors, you might want to search that one).

What injectors are you using? Is the motor obd-1 or obd-2? Did you run any tests on the wiring to/from the injector resistor box? Did you alter any wiring? Are you using the usdm or jdm fuel pressure regulator?

EDIT: the jdm h22a distributor is internal coil.

Also, my knowledge lies with the obd-1 jdm h22a. If you're using an obd-2 motor, than I can't be much help. If using an obd-1 jdm h22a...the usdm h23a harness is fully compatible on the jdm obd-1 h22a motor...the only difference is there won't be any vtec solenoid/vtec pressure switch wiring, and you need to do the fuse mod in order to use the internal coil distributor.
