Default R54 S300 Install in a P28

step 4 off hondatas S300 install site:
De-solder R54, install and solder the supplied resistor. Note: Not all ECUs require this step.

I'm running the 5-speed, Vtec, obd1 P28.....do I need this resistor??? No tuning shops in my area want to lose my money so they won't tell me if I need it or not.

Thankyou

Or just explain why its needed or not and I'll see if it applies to my application. :]

If you have an obd1 p28 ecu, yes you will need to solder in the resistor into R54 per the hondata instructions.
