anyone use the rustoleum safety red on there car yet. pics please. before and after. Would like a pic of rio red and then safty red rustoleum. thanks
I'd also love to see some pics of a car painted this color. I want to paint a car with a red Maaco paintjob, just to make it passable. I sprayed Rustoleum flat black (using a Harbor Freight gun) on another car and it came out pretty well

THis is late but,
Don't use it... It has no gloss, and is very transparent. I know from experience.

Really? I bought a gallon of it and rolled it onto a spare sunroof panel I have and it is about as shiny as I could expect some rolled-on paint to be. It actually looks like a good color, also, though MUCH brighter than the original (albeit faded) red on the car. Possibly TOO bright to maintain a stock look?
It's dark outside, so I can't get a picture with good lighting, but when I compare it to another panel I have, with sprayed on black gloss, it seems just about as shiny...
When you say transparent, that makes me think that you thinned it and/or didn't apply enough coats. How did you apply it?

OK, after extensive searching, I found some pics of a vehicle painted this color! I didn't do this, and don't know who did, aside from what is says on his site.
Immediately after spraying:
Another later pic is here (the site is being retarded and won't let me link to it): http://bp2.blogger.com/_lasb0G...e.jpg
It doesn't look too glossy, but that could just be a function of no wet-sanding. Though, the paint is not labelled as "gloss", whereas some of the other colors (such as White/Black) are.
