does anyone know if a 1992 honda prelude has that outlet thing for the onboard diagnostics??? and if so where is it located?

 

I *think* you're talking about the service port, when it attached to the dash behind the stereo head unit. On my '93 Si it is a blue 2wire plug, you can stick a paperclip in it to short the 2 wires and check for stored CEL codes.

There's also a port back there that I think has something to do with your SRS system...so beware of that.

 

blue is correct, yellow 2 prong wire is bad. you will short your car out. be aware
