Default Transmission, cracked pressure plate issue?

I was driving my 92 GS-R with a b17, and I downshifted into 4th on the freeway, it grinded. Which was strange, then I downshifted getting off on the off-ramp and as I slowed down my car kinda shuddered. You could feel it in the pedal and the car itself. Afterwords my car would drive, but the transmission was sticky, the clutch pedal was engaging at the floor, and I would also grind in gears. The shuddering was still there once in a while when I engage and disengaged the clutch. I immediately called my friend and he believes from the symptoms I might have a cracked pressure plate. I thought I'd post up on Honda-tech to get some opinions before I started tearing **** apart. See if anybody else has ever had this problem. Thanks!

i dont know if that sounds like a cracked pressure plate but you should check the linkage and the clutch cable.maybe the cable is streched maybe you broke a bushing just trying to look at the linkage and the fluid level. youll prob have to take it out anyways but always good to try.
