There are a lot of different ZC engines:

OBD0 DOHC
OBD0 SOHC non-VTEC
OBD1 SOHC VTEC
etc. etc.

Do you know which ZC it came from?

BTW:

There will be different clutch spline counts depending on what year ZC you got the clutch from.

It also really depends on what tranny was attached to the ZC as well.

If the clutch came from an OBD1 VTEC ZC with a hydro tranny attached then yes it will work with your D16Y7.

If the clutch came from an older ZC with a cable tranny that's where it gets really dicey/uncertain. Early cable trannies had smaller spline counts than 92-up Civics.
