1995 Acura integra GSR with a ITR LSD tranmission


THE PROBLEM

When driving this car it goes into first and second smoothly, 3rd is over closer to where 5th SHOULD be, then 4th is straight down, when going back to 3rd from 4th (downshifting) you cant really get it in gear, like its not in the right spot. I Daily Drive a b16 swapped hatch, this car was just a test drive and im curious as to hard it would be to fix this problem.

So, same thing goes for second, its off to the right. So to drive the car you have to be at certain speeds for it to go into gear (when downshifting/revmatching) and when you're accelerating, 2nd and 3rd are off to the right. Also, when cruising in 5th it pops out.

THE STORY

This is a 95 GSR i drove, with a ITR LSD transmission. Just curious as to what the problem may be, think it could be just as simple as the shift linkage? There are no grinds in any gears, just they're not in the right spots a tall, and it doesnt like downshifting much, like just flat out wont go in. yet, it doesnt grind.

Help?

1 of 2 things, the shifter bushings are bad or the linkage is bad/bent. take your pick.

 

any idea how much shifter bushings are to replace? or how hard?
