when I accelerate my car revcs out at 4500ish? what would cause that? plugs? and i notice a hesitation and then all of the sudden i have power starting aroung 3000 to 3500rpms then it revs at 4500 what could it be?

 

by chance are u in limp mode?

 

whatever that means. I cant give my car viagra so yeah its in some B.S. mode

yeah pretty much. its sounds like its higher but at idle my car is quite and sits aroung 500 if i adjust idle speed screw i get rpm bounce.

 

so when i first start the car it goes to 5500 but after warmed up it will only do 4500 before it revs out

 

limp mode aka safe mode is when the ECU isnt happy with something. IE. Running poorly, code or watever.

The ecu will limit the cars RPM's to help not wreck it.

 

Yeah you should go check that out before further damage occurs..
