Default Car died last night on the fwy 1990 wagon

So i was going home last night hopped on the freeway and right when i got up to about 65-70 mph my car started bogging out like it was running out of gas..(which according to the needle it was ) so no biggie i had enough momentum to make it to the gas station , i try starting it up and it cranks and cranks and then it made like a small backfire poping noise as if the firing order was off.
So now that it has gas im wondering what could this be?
Im going to post a video of me trying to start it so you guys can hear it too.

the car is a 1990 civic wagon with about 283k newer block d15b with the stock head.

Also i checked the oil (which was just changed not to long ago and it was empty ) but the oil light that usually comes on wasnt on..

I've been having problems with starting the car sometimes mostly when its closer to empty , a friend of mine suggested since i always wait til its on empty to fill up that my fuel pump might be [freak]ed.

any suggestions or comments are welcome thanks !

Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key to the on position?

like the person that replyed already. check for the fuel pump hum and answer back. if your car starts up no problem SOMETIMES, that means your fuel pump i probably going out soon

actually check your rotor screw. the rotor still might be attached but the screw could of come out.

This happened to my boss's ED. Timing belt was worn so it jumped time. I did a cylinder leakage test and heard noise in the intake so I removed the head to find out that the valves didn't hit. Heard leakage though . Put the distributor on and was losing spark. Removed the cap and the damn set screw fell off!! New rotor set screw and cap fired right up! Still can't believe a little set screw kicked my ***.
