ok ive had this problem for a while now it was doing this to my last motor be for it blew i just put a dohc zc motor in my ef and like i said this was happening with my old motor it turns on runs ok alittle rough i take off in 1st gear there s power up to bout 2k rpms and then it just gets loud and the rpms go higher but its like theres no power at all i can floor it and it just dosent go im thinking fuel pump has any 1 had this kinda problem befer in sry its complicated to explane help plz

 

sounds like if your giving it gas an the rpm's just rev and the car doesnt go anywhere you have succesfully burned the **** out of your clutch and need a replacement.. or you have a clogged fuel filter.. either or..

 

i wish it was either but its not my clutch is good i just put the swap in checked the clutch pressure plate ect. and just replaced the fuel filter not to long ago it might be something with the fuel pump dont know how to check to see wat it is no codes except 1 o2 sensor

 

It's a Honda haha. That's your problem...

Sounds like you're on the right track though, it sounds to me like a fueling issue. Obviously somewhere between the fuel pump and injectors...

 

this is prob. a noob ? but wheres the fuel pump?

 

might try looking in the fuel tank..? where else would it be? lol just messin. In an ef, you have to completely lower the tank to get to the pump. The access port under the rear seat (if you have one) just gives you access to the top connector for the sending unit.
