sometimes if i datalog some runs with my rtp, it will stop datalogging and the red vis light next to the mil light on the gauges screen will be red. any way to keep it connected so i can finish logging the end of my run?

Good question! I completely forgot about that.

 

inverter to power it? no, just running off the battery. i got lucky this battery lasts about 4 hours

 

Hmmm. Has to be the position in the ECU or the electrical system of the car then.

 

non-resistor plugs?

 

cars electrical system was a hackjob. took me a long time and a lot of heatshrink and solder to get it back together. so long as the car runs fine which it does im not overly concerned
