It usually depends on whether or not your using a hydro tranny or a cable tranny.
On my b16 swap thats a first gen b16 I use 91 integra axles non abs. for hydro I think its 94 and up integra

im sure the ys1 came in the integra xsi's... If you have a cable tranny you have to find out what kind of half shaft you have, if you have a b16 half shaft you have to use the shaft in inner joint from a 87-89 integra and the outer joint from a 90-93 integra..... If you have a integra half shaft you can use 90-93 integra axles on both ends.

oh ic, my engine came with the half shaft already, its just missing the axles, but i guess i could just use 90-93 integra axles if its off xsi, would automatic trans axles work on it too?

You need to match the axles to the half shaft. Identify your half shaft and then get the axles that work with that half shaft.

here is some more info. hope this info helps

http://crxcommunity.com/viewto...99ae5

SIR/Y1 half shaft is TOP, 90-93 Integra BOTTOM

The Y1/SiR intermediate shaft is stamped "SH3" above the female end, and the 90-93 Integra mid-shaft is stamped "SK7" in the same spot.

PS: Learn to search on your own, I searched "B16 half shaft" on google and found this in under 30 seconds.

im kinda confused, people are saying its off SiRs and XSis, i read the code of the intemediate shafts female end and it was stamped sh3, also it was stamped sh6 on the very top. so what car did my engine really come out off?, i think its of an jdm SiR

well if you have a ys1 tranny its most likely out of a xsi im sure.... so i would just buy the 90-93 axle see if it fits and if it does not fit go and buy the 87-89 axle and put the outer joint from the 90-93 on the shaft of the 87-89 and bravo.... either way your gonna need the 90-93 axle....
