Default Aftermarket Intake Manifolds

If I bolted a Skunk2 manifold on a b18b1 would i need my car tuned for it? thanks for any help.

You should have it tuned but its not worth the money if you just have a couple boltons. Dont expect any power gains either, maybe just a louder intake.

Right, i'd recommend just waiting on getting tuning done until you at least got all your bolt-ons taken care of.

if anything an aftermarket intake manifold, like the skunk2, will hurt your performance if you have stock internals.

Because so much air is flowing into the motor, you would need bigger cams and upgraded fuel. Bigger cams usually call for more compression, so pistons should also be considered...

without all those supporting mods, the intake manifold will clearly just bog down the car.
