Default Steering Wheel Volume Controls

I have a 2002 Accord Ex V6 Coupe which I purchased off a previous owner. He had removed the factory CD/Radio and installed a Clarion CD player. (never left the factory one for me) I drive on the highway everyday and would like to use my steering wheel volume controls. Is there any way to connect these controls to the aftermarket CD player? Any insight would be appreciated.
