Hey I am looking for a new car and I found a 1997 4 door Acura Integra gsr. It has 202k miles original motor and tranny. Just got new front axil and tires there is a good sized dent in the front right quarter pannel It doesnt have a stereo in it but it is wired for one and has custom boxes for 12" subs. The guy told me it does burn oil but not bad and the lifters click a little on cold winter mornings but when it warms up it goes away. It also had a new clutch put in at 197k. He says it runs strong but i have not got a chance to drive it yet. It has leather seats that look to be in good condition except the drivers seat which is pretty tore up. The rest of the car looks to be in good condition. He is asking 3500 but i know i can get him down to 3k. The high mileage isn't a huge deal because i plan on bore out and completely build up the motor. I am going to be a Junior in Highschool this year and am looking for a little sportier car. For the mileage and the condition, that's kind of overpriced. I'd say it's worth 2000-2500 at most. You'll find plenty of other integra's around in better shape for that kind of money.

 

Thanks just looking for a quick car to upgrade from my 1990 subaru legacy. I am trying to stay under 5 grand if anybody has any suggestions.
