Default ITR floor mats

Quick question to all you ITR brainiacs. About how much do 97 USDM ITR floor mats cost? A full set of course.

I paid $96 shipped for my set of 97-00 floormats from Len brand new. Too bad it was probably the last set that any dealership had brand new.

You buy them from Honda-Tech brand new from someone, expect to pay $200, and its ridiculous.

Do you own a Type R? They are more if you do not.

I'm glad I bought my EDM mats. These days its cheaper to buy and import a set than to buy a set from the price gougers.

I'm glad I got my set when Len had them. Brand new set sitting in my room, and a used set that I don't worry about messing up in my car.

^Quik ? are the 97 mats different at all than the 98 00's? They 97's didnt have that little hole at the back left for the nub on the floor to go through right? sorry to steal your thread

Lol, it is those little hooks, there is a cutout in your carpet to bolt one to the fram. In between where the front of your seat bolts down. You can buy the hook and bolt from acura. It is so your floor mat doesnt ride up, even thought they have the teeth underneeth them.

I believe the 97 mats are checkered and I was told the 98 - 01 were different but I dont know for sure. The guy selling them is trying to get $300 for all five mats. I though it was a little steep. Thanks for the valuable info.

Mine hasn't moved so I'll keep it the way it is.

All 5? There's only 4 mats for the passenger area. Two rears, two fronts, unless he's including the trunk mat. If so, you won't find a deal better than that, and you should jump on it.

BTW, 97-00 were checkered, 01 were black.

I have 97 checkered in my 00R because my 1st. R were totaled
so I just transferred it over when I bought new R.
Just buy these on Ebay since to me it looks better anyway.

I haven't done anything to protect my mats, I'm just careful inside my car with food and drinks. I'm **** about my interior, so I try to not spill anything. No trunk mat for 01 is correct, and IIRC the 01 mats are still for sale new, so I'd pick up another set incase something happens to the ones you've got in the car. Spares are always good.

Seriously, buy it. The cargo mat alone can go for that price.

You eat in your car? lol. Mine is a no eating no drinking vehicle. I think I am going to buy a black towel for the pass matt so those damn bitches dont mess up the little red a, and then drive with socks and put my shoes on the towel. (I work in a restraunt, so my shoes=gross) Maybe scotchguard as well.

I don't like to wait for my food to get cold. The worst I get is salt or seeds from buns, and that vacuums out. Now the towel idea might be a good idea in your situation. My shoes stay fairly clean, so a shampooing every now and then keeps my mats looking decent.
