Harness to make HU's plug and play?
I know there are the harness that comes off your cars OEM plug - but it still requires connecting 20 different wires.
Are there any truly plug and play harnesses? IE: Plugs into the back of the head unit AND your cars OEM harness? Specifically a 92 Civic? I'm having huge issues right now sourcing a problem with my year old head unit install and have been driving around without a stereo for two weeks. I'm thinking if something like this exists i'll just scrap my whole install and do it like that...

Yes there is, it's called a "smart harness", Your HUs plug at one end and a 86-1997/98 Honda/Acura plug on the other, avalable from Scosche, Metra and maybe American International and Best.
You should be able to get one at your local car audio shop.

Circuit City is the only place that still carries smart harnesses around here. And they don't carry kenwood so you're SOL. Learn how to solder.

Thats a metra smart harness from circuit city... in a volkswagen like that (pictured) the part # would be 80-1784....but then you need the deck specific one...which is not gonna be kenwood unless its 4+ years old...why don't you pay a shop like 15 bucks to solder/crimp one for you?

The photo was taken inside my '02 Civic coupe. I do have a '71 Beetle project, though. Perhaps you read that in a different post and got confused?
That adapter came with my Civic. I did make a plug-n-play harness, once, by re-pinning two seperate adapters for the Toyota MR2 that I used to have. (oem adapter to headunit adapter plug)
