Default dpfi to mpfi question

hey guys, ive been reading around and looking for some info but would like to clarify some things. im getting a 91 std hatch, and wanna go z6 swap. if i buy just the motor harness from rywire that is plug and play to go dual point to obd1 vtec will that run straight to the ecu and make it so that i dont have to change anything other than get a ecu jumper harness?

second, could i just get a 88-91 si dash and motor harness to make it multi which would be more work but, save me some cash.

and third, would a 90-91 integra harness work for inside the car and for the motor if i got them both? and i read if i go mini me which would be obd1 i dont need a resister box correct?

thanks

I cant answer your question about the integra harness or resistor box, but I will assure you its cheaper and easier to add the wires to your stock harness. It is more confusing, but I only spent $15 for the wire at Auto Zone (bought a couple different colors) and $8 for a large pack full of crimp connectors. Way cheaper than buying the harness and a lot less work to just run the wires than getting a whole harness. There's a hole in the firewall right above the ECU, thats where I ran my wires.

If you do a mini-me you will need to add the resistor box and switch it to MPFI, you can keep it OBD0 by adding either a RPM activated switch or a piggyback to the ECU, you can read all about it in the FAQ at the top of the EF forum.
