JDM FRONT--HID BALLASTS--BALLASTS HOUSING.
When i bought the car there were no ballasts or, ballasts housing for my jdm front lights. Anyone know where i can find some!!?? Look something like this....
That is because you have non-HID headlights. I would just buy HID headlights instead of buying just the ballast.

About 4 years before you joined, there used to be actual tech topics on this forum. Of course i wasn't even a member then.
The questions posted now are just stupid, and can be answered by doing a little research or a search.
If your too lazy to search then expect some criticism.

A Thank you to all the HT members that helped me out...
Im fairly new to the Honda Scene, most of all the BIG/in depth work is done by my brothers friend who is a certified Honda/Audi tech, so i dont get a whole lot experience but trying to pick up more and more things as i go along.
I see this a lot reading in other posts, you always get those 2 or 3 people dont want to help. Pass your knowledge on to other HT members so that we all can become more aware, and maybe some day HT forums will be full of quality questions instead of the lack of quality questions....

it's very easy for "new" people to complain at older members that tell them to search when asking - on the face of it - dumb questions.
think about it, these guys have been answering all sorts of questions for years. sometimes I read threads that I know perfectly well what the answer is, I just can't be arsed to spoon feed others when I learnt myself the hard way by searching and learning.
it's very rare for someone to be entirely new to the internet and forums, being new to a particular brand is no excuse for not knowing about the search feature and being too lazy to research the answer themselves.
There are some REALLY knowledgable people that have contributed some great tech and information onto the boards, why should they keep having to repeat themselves everytime someone new comes along?
granted, new problems arise, and if it is a genuine problem asked in the right way then you will get the help from a great bunch of guys.
I bet a lot of O.G's will read this thread and *sigh* again at the way there are increasing numbers of threads like this that appear in comparison even to 2 years ago when I first joined. it's also the reason a large proportion of the old members don't hang out on here like they used to

You get what you pay for. I wouldn't put those ebay HID kits on my car if they were given to me. They are absolute garage compared to the real thing or a good retrofit.

Well right now the headlights are staying as they are because my money is going elsewhere into the car. But for the future i can always sell mine and get some HID's.

Theres also a really handy link up in the top right of your screen called SEARCH. Id recommend using that rather than making several easily researchable threads in one day.

Are you serious? First of all, how in the world can you recommend to get 10k HID bulbs? That is rediculous and screams ricer. Not to mention you will be blinding everyone on the road with your blue bulbs. You do realize that OEM HID projectors will put out much more lighting than a halogen projector with an HID kit.
Do it right the first time and go with the OEM HID headlights. And use the oem 4300k bulbs.

That is great, you know 60 other ricers that run shitty ebay HID kits. Sorry but your 10k kit is garage especially if you only paid $70 for it. One of the bulbs in my HIDs cost more than your entire kit. What does that say about the bulbs in your kit? Also if you think your kit is so great go post in the lighting forum and see the response you get. Also stock is 4300k and they do not look yellow so don't open your mouth when you don't know what you are talking about.
Here is a comparison of a crappy HID kit and the real thing.

Im pretty positive that OEM HIDs for Integras are actually 4300k.
OP, just search next time. We all need to learn how to fend for ourselves one day.

oem integra ,s2000, tsx hid's are 4300, ebay hid kits are complete garbage and blind oncoming traffic (so dont oem jdm hids)
ya the flaming gets old, ive been here a long time and i dont resort to calling people newb's etc etc to have a good time, also these cars are 8+ years old now and new technical posts dont come about too often anymore

im completely content with my 70 dollar ebay hids......and for being 10k they dont look like what you posted and those are 8k. trust me, i spent my money else where than 1000 dollars on some oem hids like my friend did and then they went out in a week. he also purchased them from a reputable company and they would not do anything about it and the only price quote he got was for 400 a bulb.
sounds a little ridiculous, but thats my opinion. im not flaming anyone just stating a simple fact. and the kits are not "garbage", they are actually well put together kits and of coarse if you dont wire them right they will catch on fire but its not like its rocket science. anywho, im done arguing, im just voicing my opinion, no need for panties to get ruffled.
