1996 Honda Civic Sedan DX with an automatic transmission. I will try to be as detailed as possible in this listing so avoid any problems with the sale. Please read before contacting me about the car, I should have any questions answered.

Mechanically the car is very sound. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts perfectly, there are no hesitations or clunks at all. The engine has about 165k miles on it; however you would never be able to tell considering how the car runs. In the past 3k miles, since the last maintenance, the engine has only used about 1/8 of a quart of oil, signaling that the piston rings are in good condition considering the high mileage. There no leaks at all as this is one of Honda’s most reliable models. The engine also has not consumed any antifreeze, a sign that the headgasket is in good condition and will not call for repair any time soon. If the only thing keeping you away from this car is the mileage please come test drive it, you will be impressed.

The tires are in like new condition and will get you through the rain and winter without any trouble. The muffler on the car was just replaced with a brand new one. The car has no check engine lights and the SRS light is not on. Everything works on the car; there are no broken or missing parts. There also a CD player installed and included with car.

The only flaws that come along with the car are cosmetically. Please refer to the pictures as you can see the car does have some dings and scratches. There is no major damage to the car though as most of the damage is from parking lots.

The engine is 1.6 liters and is great on gas. Many people report getting over 40mpg on the highway and around 30-35 around town.

I have the clean title in hand and everything is ready to go with no issues. The car was formally registered in Georgia so it will require a NYS inspection. The last inspection was done in Georgia about a year ago and passed without any problems; I have the receipt from it.

Price is $3,000 as I feel it is in “Good” condition and based upon what I have seen similar cars selling for. In this price range it is hard to find then newer style (96-00) Honda Civics, so I don’t expect this car to stay on the market for long.
