Default 93 Integra XSi

Ok so, as I have posted before, I have a 93 GS. Several minor mods. I was doing some research today and decided I want to attempt a conversion to an XSi(minus the RHD). I know I need the B16, but other than that I wanted to know if anyone has experience with this and what else I will need to do this conversion.

depending on the extent of what you want to do converting to xsi can be easy or hard. i say hard because they're are things that a fanboy would only know and then a real enthusiast would know...the outside isn't that bad so if you're going for looks it'll be easy. stuff like one pieces, correct stickers, and side markers. b16 would be nice if you pop your hood. the interior is were us messed up big time when bring the da here. there's hella things that are better imo. but some of the stuff you would need a rhd conversion done to make it right.

goodluck and i hope this kinda helped.

Ok, thanks for your help. I already have most of the body work done, just need XSi sticker I'm for sure getting the B16A though. As far as the RHD conversion I'm not sure about it, but other than that what is different in the interior?

I believe they have climate cotrol units, the cluster is obviously different, the seats, the back seats have head rests (baller). Maybe try getting a gathers stereo, although I heard they don't pick up any signals in the U.S. (correct me if I'm wrong). A jdm bumper with a bumper pole would be nice (what I have, minus the actual pole, since I sold it). It's all in the little detail.

Yeah, so I just realized I would be Fuxxed if it wasn't for car clubs and the net. None of my friends or family know **** bout some Japanese cars lol. But anyways I heard that the RHD conversion would be about 5k. EFF that. Sorry but that could be a ballin a$$ turbo. As far as the minor details I think I'll deal with those after I Get...
1.) B16A
2.) Tranny???(need help deciding which one)
3.) More Body Work(i.e. paint emblems and stickers)
4.) More info

But thanks for the help so far.

get a b16 tranny for your b16, that would be the best bet. i would try to get a full xsi swap from hmotors or something like that.

the reason i say you would need a rhd conversion is for stuff like the climate controls. and the glove box (which i think is one of the most gangsterest things to have on a da) but yeah they do get a little pricey. i would say for the most part try to get the rear seats with the head rest in them. (you could go out and spend big bucks on a real jdm one. or there's a way to do it with 4 door rear seats) oh yeah and i would get manual seat belts. canada has them too so it shouldn't be that bad. you can also get the jdm/canada-dm arm rest.

oh and for the outside i forgot to add power folding mirrors (straight gangsta to have)

interior visors, gathers speakers, interior road flare, center console, tail lights (no reflectors), and interior door panels

Didnt kno there was jdm interior visors..is the mirror on the other side or something? if it is than u might as well just trade places with ur visors to the other side. or is the safety instruction in Japanese?

and *** gathers speakers. y go jdm for some cheap speakers.
and i did forget about the center console & road flares....
tailights....just go 90-91
and last y should u get jdm door panels when ur not doing a rhd conversion

Ok so update, I was searching and found out that a JDM shell is within my price range, but for an XSi I'm not sure this assumption is based on a 93 JDM DC. I can't find anything for the DA6. help please? and yes that means i want an RHD.

the body chassis over here was 1990-1993, but japan's production is labeled 1989-1992 for the "DA" integra.

tip: try looking for them in canadian automotive sites....

p.s. another difference between usdm and jdm that wasn't mentioned is that the japanese vin plate is located on the core support...

and of course the spare tire is different
