I'm about to buy an 1995 coupe si swapped with an h22 93 but the only problem with the car is that theres a check engine that comes and go. Ive scanned it and its seems to be the knock sensor.

Could it be a problem with the wiring or the sensor is defect?

I heard i could put another ecu such has a p28 and i wont get the check engine (can you plz describe me what i need to do and what ecu i could use)

Last, i have to drive the car from quebec to ottawa with the check engine on (about 300 miles) is it safe or not?
