Alright I have an 88crx si. I changed doors on the car because they were pretty rusty. I put 90-91 crx dx doors on it. I had to grind some metal off of the door to make it fit and close properly. Well thats all set. Now my 88crx si glass didnt fit so I went to the j-yard and found a 90honda dx civic. I pulled the glass out of that. Now the glass fits in the door that I have fine. My 88crx si door track broke while trying to install the window. I went back to the j-yard today and took the one out of the car that I got the window from now everything lines up but the arm that hooks on the door is off by a quarter inch, I dont know why.

Arent the doors on a 90 civic dx the same doors on a 90 crx dx? I thought they were. My old crx si door track fit fine.

I dont know what to do, I cant find a 88crx si door track and I dont want to get ripped off by the dealership.

Anyone help me out.

 

Should have stopped when you thought that grinding it down would make it work. My best advice is just start all over and get a crx door. The civic doors are different. If you want everything to work right get the right parts.

 

lol no there 90 crx dx doors. Im using a 90 civic dx not crx window. The window fits but the track from the 90 civic dx doesnt.
