B16 ef question?

Default B16 ef question?

will aftermarket headers for a 99-00 civic si b16 fit on a b16 91 civic ef, and will the stock exhaust boelt on proprly, or ill have to get a whole aftermarket exhaust system with the si headers?

all b series parts(sept vtec cams and non-vtec cams) are interchangable so they will bolt right in the only difference is the space but im 99.9% positive they will fit, and also the si b16 is pretty much the same motor just runs a differient computer and some new sensers so you might need to look into new o2 sensers but i could be mistaken

so the stock ef exhaust will bolt on the aftermarket 99 civic si b16 header possibly

It will bolt up. I have a DCSports 99-00 Si header with the stock CRX cat and Skunk2 catback, bolted up just fine...
If you are still obd-0, you would need to get 2 02 bungs welded in for your sensors.

BTW, 94-97 DelSol VTEC and 99-00 Civic SI header have the same part#.


Edit: A 4-1 header won't clear the stock crossmember...

so if a 4-1 wont clear need to get a 4-2-1 correct.. I have a b16 in my hatch and was thinking of getting a dc sports header also..

Most any aftermarket header will be an issue with figment on a 4th gen.

notching the X member is pretty much a given for any long tube setup, or an aftermarket X member.

damn lol, so ill have to get a aftermarket crossmember or i can just cut the front motor mount bracket on the crossmember?
