1992 Honda Prelude wont start!!
there is a problem with my 1992 Honda Prelude S. some how at times it wont start. im thinking it might be due to the starter. i changed the starter coil and replaced it but it still didnt start. the engine is fine nothing wrong. and when it wont start the D4 light flashes. this only happens when i have low gas...could it be the ignition distributor??

first make sure all your spark plugs are good.check and make sure you are getting spark to each of the cylinders/spark plugs. if you are not, disconnect the coil wire goin to the distributor and make sure you have spark coming from the coil. if you have spark at the coil but not at any of the cylinders then you may need a new distributor. if you do get spark at some, but not all of the cylinders, then you need new park plugs wires.
whens the last time you installed new spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor?

It's most likely the main relay issue. Nearly every 4th gen prelude succumbs to that problem at some point in its ridiculously long life.
The mechanic at the honda dealership that services my car says that a fairly common problem that also occurs in the 4th generation is an absence fuel pressure. Have them check that out too.
