Default H22A OBD2 Long Block

Hey guys,

Does anyone know where I can find a H22A OBD2 Long Block Engine for my 98 lude? I've been looking around the web, and I can't find any places that have a Long Block Engine for 97+ ludes... If anybody can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

-Thanks!

I have the base model. I checked out Hmotorsonline the other day, but they weren't selling the long block by itself. They were just selling the complete set with the transmission, which I don't have the money for and don't really need. Do you have any other recommendations for places to pick up an engine?

But will a 92-95 H22A Long Block work in a 98 lude, without any tweaks? I thought that a 92-95 H22A consisted had an OBD1, while 98+ had H22A4 engines with an OBD2. I'm a noob, dude. You're gonna have to break this down for me...

yes the 92-95 will swap in but you are either going to have to change the motor/ecu to odb2 or odb1. they make plug and play wireharnesses by boomslang i believe

If you want everything to work just like the old motor, swap the oil pump and crank gear from the old motor onto the JDM engine. Use the original distributor, rather than the JDM one. Everything else should match up.
