i think you will be fine just as long as you dont have a check engine light and your cars not polluting the earth
if you have the stock header i wouldnt be worried about it
look for a place that does smog that says something like if you dont pass you dont pay

 

i dont think you will pass... and if you go to a test place and dont pass it will be registered as soon as the test is done. so maybe go some where and ask if the can test it with out your info first and if it passes than have the person enter your information.... otherwise you may need to go back stock for this.

 

Put stock airbox back on and try it like that.

 

lol. Again, why do you cali people go through the hassle for just a few extra HP? I'm glad I don't live there, for several reasons. But you have to follow the law, no matter how stupid it is.

As suggested, put your OEM airbox back on if they have a visual inspection.

And make sure your car is warmed up when you get it sniffed.

Actually it will pass. I had a CAI and pass a smog check last week. Just as long you still have the stock header you'll pass the smog.

 

if the intake has a carb sticker then yes. just dont mention anything about the reflash to the smog tech and you should be 100% fine.

 

find a shady *** place to pass you. since my car is registered in texas i could do w/e to my car and not worry about smog even though i live in cali, but i own a base so
