i regret getting an LS and later i found a JDM RHD ITR for $7600, soo look around first , if you could start with the ITR that way there is less money involved with making it fast but its up to you and how much you have.. how much you looking to spend????... and for a 16 yr. that may even be too fast...

For a 16 year old, an Integra is a perfect first car. They usually are reliable (if bought in stock form), fairly inexpensive for insurance, and great economically. You can easily turn them into amazing machines on the cheap.

My first car at 16 was a 91 Integra, and I now own a 94 GSR. I wouldn't have wanted to own anything else, it was the perfect first car/current car for me. If anything stick with a Honda, they are usually cheap and economical if anything.

Integra would be a great first car. Here's my .02.. get an Integra, find your local SCCA and enroll into HPDE's and *learn* how to drive right.. then do some auto-x / trackdays and tear it up legally. Or on the drag strip if you prefer that. Don't drive / race on the streets like an asshat.
