I have a Apexi AFC that i bought from a good friend who in turn got from another good friend
. Anyway. i dont have instructions for it.
I have an '04 RSX Type-S, anyone with experience in installation?

My other question is this. My ride is N/A, I planned to drop a couple more bolt-ons and do a ECU Flash. If i have the Apexi installed before I do so. Is it pointless? will it alter the outcome of the ECU flash?

You are wasting your time. The AFC doesn't control cam angles or ignition timing which are VERY important to making more power.

 

Agreed. but air to fuel mixtures make power as well. i can have the perfect cam set up and timing to the teeth. but with a lean or rich motor, all that power means nohing. when will it really come into use. in between tunes. i can tune a car to get the perfect mixture and timing, but if I place a mod in that alters that mixture, with no time to get it tuned ASAP, i think the AFC can come in handy for getting the best possible output until a tune. it's like setting up a base map before a tune.

I agree though, AFC may be a waste of time, but also helpful in it's way.

 

Hacking up such a new & expensive engine harness is sacralidge.
