Because you'd really have to be (somewhat) dumb to buy one instead of the cheaper and superior Civic Si (and I really hate to say that). Before this gets confusing, I'm comparing the DC5 RSX/Integra to the current 8th gen Civic Si.

Except the RSX/Integra has been discontinued. Yes, first we in the US got a rename, then the car was dropped altogether.

What brings you to the conclusion that the civic is superior. Ride quality/interior design/navi/fancy headlights? I bet the dc5 goes around a track faster.

The switch to a strut suspension design on the DC5 left much to be desired. The DC5s that were raced were heavily modified beyond simple suspension bolt-ons. Much of the suspension inadequacies were addressed with the new Civic Si.

It really seems like they keep making cars worse. Like the new civic type R for example. Give me a DC2 anyday.

The stut suspension is cheaper and safer in a crash. It is a Honda afterall. I personally do not have much respect for BMW because of the strut suspensions.
