Default NGK spark plug

so i purchased a set of NGK iridium IX spark plugs and they came pre-gapped so would i still have to gap them to spec measurements? I also purchased a set of NGK wires and I still have the old set of NGK wires should i just toss them out or are they still good its only been on there for 1 year 4 months

Pre-gapped means they were previously gapped [for you]. So no need to gap them. And if you bought the wires throw them on... Always good to prevent. Also, just in case you didn't know. Make sure yo keep the firing order right. Do them one at a time...
