Integra or Civic calipers
When I bought my 98 EK (w/o abs) last year the owner told me that the front brakes (rotor, caliper, pads) had been swaped from an integra. Now im looking to replace the brakes with something more sutied for occansional track use and im not sure if the owner really swaped the brakes or was just blowing smoke up my ***.
About a month ago I installed stainless brakelines and ordered them for a 98 civic w/o abs they fit perfectly and I havn't had any problems. Thats what had me thinking that the calipers wern't from an integra, were there any integras w/o abs? If not is it possible to remove the abs sensor from each caliper?
Is there any way to identify integra brakes from civic brakes besides matching them to another set of integra calipers, rotors and pads?
Im planning on buying Brembo blanks with either project Mu Type-B pads or EBC yellow stuff and I don't want to order parts for a Civic when I need parts for an Integra or vise-versa.
