Parking Lights - One Side Much Brighter Than the Other?

Parking Lights - One Side Much Brighter Than the Other?
Parking Lights on Driver's Side are much brighter than passenger side. This includes both bulbs.
1) Different bulbs. I replaced the passenger side bulbs (had wrong ones in it) with the 'correct' bulbs. Drivers side has in it 'whatever' the previous owner had in it.
2) Grounds. Do different grounds control those lights differently?
I was thinking of replacing the driver side bulbs with the 'correct' bulbs from PepBoys, but I like that they are as bright as they are... so... umm... What does H-T think?

Bought Sylvania 194LL (same as I put in the passenger side). They will go in this weekend and I will update.
