Default help..weird smell when driving, can only be smelled by people behind me.

ok i got myself a 95 gsr 2dr, mileage on it now is 160587 around there. the facts i know right now is that i know i need an oil change because the owner i bought it from said the last time he changed the oil was 157400 so im already 187 over. another thing is my boss told me i have an exhaust leak and i dont even know how to find out if i do have a leak (fyi he works at a body shop).
so tomorrow afternoon after i get off work i will buy a new oil filter to finally change my oil.

ok so tonight my friend was driving behind me and tells me that my car really stinks he doesnt know what it smells like but its like something is burning. so i tell him step on the gas while parked and i smelled nothing, so i think it only smells when im driving but i cant smell it while im in my car. can someone please help me on this one?

edit: changed my oil, the weird odd smell ended. now i started smelling burning rubber wen i started driving even my friend tailing me can smell it too.

edit: i smell somewhat burning rubber inside my car wen i started driving off after the oil change. my friend whose tailing me tells me he smells rotten eggs

Did he see any smoke? Are you consuming any oil?

If your smelling something funny, then it could be a clogged cat. Take it off and shake it and see if you hear a radding sound then it could be it.

Check your belts and engine wiring harness in that general area. I once found a pair of scissors there, and the plastic and metal were worn down by the belts.

Its probably just an exhaust leak, only way to tell is to get under there.

you probably have some pastic melted to your exhaust. you can be going 120 and that shT will grab your cat or muffler like an STD. as far as being 160 over an oil change, no worries. ive seen guys come in my work over 10,000. the worst was 25,000 and the oil had gummed up and the car was throwing a vtec code of somesort. needless to say the engine was sludged and replaced. but go and get it done asap, you dont ned to make it a habit.

Isn't the rotten egg smell from the clutch?
Almost positive thats what the smell was related to.
