Default Another Exhaust question....(I searched)

So were looking to upgrade the exhaust system in GSRgrrls car.
Seeing as how the AC is allready gone, we will be going with a full 3" downpipe, and exhaust.
Several questions:
1.Will there be boost creep/spike problems with a 3" exhaust and the Drag3 manifold/tial wg?
2.We want to keep the exhaust as quiet as possible. So we are thinking the following: 3" cat, 3" dynomax bullet muffler behind cat, and a 3" dynomax round race series muffler in the back. (with a inconspicous tip.)
Thanks as usual.

i have some input for number #2:

i have a 2.5" dp, 3" carsound cat, 2.5" resonator hacked into the middle of a 3" thermal exhaust system and i wouldn't mind adding another resonator .. imo, anything 3" is going to be loud so get a good resonator. xerxes has a 3" resonator hacked into his thermal also and it sounds awesome ... not loud at all.

with my car, at low rpm's, it's a deep low rumble but at cruising speed, it's very bearable - the resonator helped ALOT. even with my wack exhaust system, i dynoed at 226/168 @ 6.5psi w/ hondata. i'm wondering what another 2.5" resonator will do ..... i need a quiet car!

Thanks for the reply.
I feel like the thermal would be the easiest...But I feel kinda bad about hacking up a brand new $600 exhaust system to add a additional resonator.

You will get boost creep with 3" downpipe, and thats is why I stopped making them. I dont have it with the Rev-hard manifold, but I think you can get away with the 2.5" downpipe and 3" exhaust. You can use a dynomax or something like that to keep the noise down some. We can talk more when I get there if you want, but its my vacation so lets keep it to a minumum.

I have a maxrev manifold with tial wg and no boost controller, custom 3" DP and full 3" exhaust with a carsound 3" cat and a 18" resognator with thermal muffler in back, and its not that lound and sleeper like looking.

Me to, this is my vacation to get away from everything here. I say we all rent Neons and take them on joy rides, and put NOS on them.

if i was still living in texas, i wouldn't even consider for 1 nanosecond putting a resonator or cat on my car. but since this is cali, better safe than sorry

it took alot of guts for me to walk into the muffler shop and tell them to cut 18" off that nice shiny thermal piping but living in cali makes us do weird things i suppose.
