anyone know where to find out whether paint is basecoat clear coat or single stage on a car
I'm looking on a 96 accord, I found the paint code which is the frost white thanks for the help

get the color code, call a paint supply store. they should have that info.
on 92-95 hondas, milano red and the frost whites were single stage paint. not base/clear.
i do believe however on the 96+ they changed that since the noticeable fading of the paint was recognized. thats why every milano red civic is pink if it wasnt waxed once a week.
