Default FS 1989 CRX SiR JDM RHD Right Hand Drive, Rear seats, B16, Vtec MODS CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car is listed on eBay, 10 day auction ending Sunday August the 17th at 6:30PM PST with a $1.00 opening and NO RESERVE!!

Listed here is my VERY Rare, Extremely CLEAN, 1989 Honda Civic CRX SiR RHD Right Hand Drive vehicle. Whether you’re a serious JDM Honda fan, always wanted a right hand drive car or just looking for a car that will get you more attention than you know what to do with than this is the car for you. On top of being an extreme attention getting, this car also performs extremely well, with over 158hp in such a light car with the suspension and brake modifications this car would be a excellent track/ auto-cross vehicle although to my knowledge this car has never been raced. I recently acquired this car as trade for my turbo Civic and intended to use the car as a daily driver. Although this car is a perfect daily driver as it has many options never offered in the North American version, automatic climate control, power steering etc I just feel the car is FAR too CLEAN for me to use daily. At this time I don't have a garage to keep the car in and am constantly worrying about the vehicle, whether it is someone stealing it to, getting hit by another driver or even just door dings in parking lots, I just feel the car deserves someone who has a garage to keep it out of the elements. Because of these reasons as well as I have a 1997 Civic I can use as a daily driver I'm listing this car in a 10 day auction starting with a $1.00 opening bid and NO RESERVE!

really? because these are quotes from the ebay auction:

The story behind this car is it started life as a CLEAN TITLE 1989 North American version Honda CRX. A complete front clip was then imported from Japan for a RHD 1990 CRX SiR to be used in the conversion by a shop that specializes in these kinds of conversions down in Southern California. At this point the car was professionally converted into a "SiR"

Paint has the occasional chip etc from being driven on the streets (it is very clean but like any car that is actually driven is not perfect, car was never wet sanded/ buffed after paint but presents itself very well)
Passenger door striker piece needs to be re welded to the body (common problem on these CRX's)
Passenger side door panel has a few tears in the vinyl (again common due to the door mounted seat belt setup)
Dash has 2 small flaws in the vinyl material
Gas door opening cable needs to be moved to drivers side (still opens, just have to reach over to do it)
The wheels have a few small bends in the lips but still balance out (no vibrations, extremely clean for a set of wheels made in the 1980's!)
The AC needs to be recharged
The trim around the windows looks a little aged (common problem again, never bothered me but figured I would mention it)
4th gear grind (common b series trans problem, changing fluid/ using a different fluid could fix this but I haven't got around to changing it)
Motor leaks some oil (I honestly don't know where it is coming from, it is dry in the valve cover area/ head gasket area so would imagine it might be the oil pan gasket?)
Stereo only plays out of one speaker (I know there is a 2nd front speaker but don't believe there are any rear speakers)

ITR/ CTR rear lower control arms
ITR/ CTR spec Ohlins rear shocks (best you can buy)

just fyi for the OP: ctr and itr are two entirely different rear lca and rear strut designs which are not interchangeable

YES THE CAR IS A CONVERSION, I'm not trying to hide anything here. I honestly have no clue why the vin# wouldn't work with eBay's system and after 20 minutes on the phone with eBay they told me to put all zeros in the in section and then add the actual vin# in the auctions description to make sure the auction didn't get canceled.
