2001 Suzuki SV650S $3250obo Orange County
I bought this bike recently and ridden it a few times. I bought it used with alittle over 17K miles on the odometer. The previous owner road it and tracked it once and low sided his first time out on track. The damage was pretty minimal from the scrapes and stuff on the fairings. He told me he was doing about 30mph when it slipped from under him. The turn signals broke off because of the low side as well as the brake pedal. I think he just chopped the rear fender and put his own blinkers on which I double side taped and properly mounted on the tail. I've also bought new blinkers for the front and covered up the original stock blinker holes. I've also sanded and then bondoed the road rash the fairing had from scraping the road. I did a fair job and looks pretty decent. Used all rattle can but laid a few layers of primer and sanded and then sprayed with flat black. I only had to do the front sides and didn't touch the front middle fairing/tank/tail/front fender. I've also added some new frame sliders and swing arm spool with rear bike stand and a brand new Woodcraft CFM 3-piece brake pedal to replace the broken ghetto rigged brake pedal. Previous owner tied a bolt up with safety wire. The bolt started sloping downwards after awhile. The bike also has a M4 exhaust which was damaged in the low side and has dents on the pipe right where the can and pipe meet and the canister also has a flat spot on the bottom end near the pipe. Doesn't leak or anything and the bike still sounds and runs great. However I've puchased a used good condition TwoBros full exhaust system to replace it. I've even got a brand new muffler repacking kit that I haven't even installed yet. Previous owner of the exhaust said I'll need to repack so I bought the repack kit today from twobros in Santa Ana. The previous owner also changed the sprockets to -1 front and +2 rear. He did it for tracking to get better pick up. He also said he changed the chain to some X-chain or something and rejetted. Bike runs great and sounds good. Brakes I haven't checked how much pad is left but works pretty well. Tires are decent kinda flat in the middle though because lots of highway commuting miles.
As a bonus the owner before gave me front and rear rims with race tires and rotors still attached. I also have the stock rear sprocket and some Motul oil.
