So I recently installed my mishimoto radiator into my 97 civic ex w/b16 t3t4 turbo. Fit for the most part but my downpipe is very close to the radiator.. practically touching, and when the motor is running i can see tiny sparks between the radiator and the downpipe. I doubt its normal for arcing to occur between the radiator and the downpipe. I lost the oem radiator mount a while ago and have been using cable ties to hold me over lol... anyway the corner of the radiator is in contact with the frame a little and im wondering if this is causing the sparks.. any ideas?

 

It's not arching, it's just the metal to metal contact caused by the different metals. Wrap that DP!
