need help type r #413
alright lets start over. i got a integra type R 2000 #413 motor is B18c5. a real type R USDM. the motor does not engage vtec when rev passed 58k rpm. there is also a stamp A I not A1 A I must of been a rebuilt motor cause its on head and block was wondering if anyone knows what shop it was rebuilt by. also does anyone know what the motor compression would be cause i did a comp test and it said 160 across wich i think is low.
no vtec?
A I stamped on head and block?

are you saying that theres a AI after the b18 on the block?
if so sounds like a b18a1, which is a non vtec old as integra ls motor
first off you need to be more clear on what your talking about, and post some pictures
