I have to ask, does everyone here go with the stock look? I have a 99 Gsr w/blower but all my car is lowered w/97 mesh rims, and wing removed. I have that total sleeper look. Do you think tint would ruin car look?

your car's cool man but there is no such thing as "sleeper look" for a civic or integra anymore. you can be pullin out of the honda dealership, with the tags on the window, and some ******** will try to race. once you get a 87 chevy caprice with a blower and tint, then we'll talk about a "sleeper".

Yeah, unless the car is 100% stock on the outside, it's really not a sleeper to most. Anytime I'm challenged by a hatch or Integra, I expect it to have a Vtec motor with bolt ons, naaaawwwws, or FI. If it doesn't, then it's rare.

Yeah, mine will be turning stock when I put my steelies and O.E. wheel covers when the winter season comes...

 

My mom's 97 Accord 4 door auto is a complete sleeper, no mods whatsoever to clue anyone in to it's peformance...seriously though, that's the look I want for my soon-to-be GSR integra.

 

I see a sticker on the window...and its dropped.. So no sleeper status.

Raise it back up and put some steelies and hubcaps. Then we'll see

 

Ya do that. And make sure to put a stock exhaust or a ITR exhaust. Take off the tint. And when you drive it, drive it like an old lady.

 

Actually sticker is off. I had an ITR Exhaust modified at one point (bought from Gettle Acura) . I have that Apexi WS which is way quiet. So I was just making a post fella's and ladies!
It feels so good hearing a V8 rumble and then you take off and there like WTF?

 

what % tint is that?

 

35% , I had it done in Florida. It only cost me 70$ to have it taken off.

sleepers have to back up their titles. Im thinking you gotta be at least 2 second faster than stock in the 1/4, completely stock looking (even exhaust) and quiet to be considered a sleeper.

I like the all GO no SHOW look though.

i think its funny when people say "CF hood, no more sleeper look" ..whats so non sleeper about a mismatched front end? these days, motor swaps and **** are so common..nothing is a sleeper anymore, unless its a car most people dont touch..like that one guys 87HB.. i would never think there was a bseries in there.. if i heard that car pop vtec, id **** my pants.. but hearing an 88-2000 hatch or integ pop vtec.. is nothing new

i wouldnt doubt that for a minute. you got like a 1400lb car with like what, 200 to the wheels? haha.

 

this is my teg with a somewhat "sleeper" look. kinda wanna get bigger rims and a clean body kit again, though.

 

My car would be a stock looking hatch if I changed the rims to blackies with hubs. The car isn't even dropped yet. Waiting on Teins, but under the hood who could guess there would be a nice little b20vtec in there.
