How can I run this fuel pump

its the bottom pump(but it hasnt been shortend so its about 1" longer than that pic shows)
how can I set this bad boy up cause it will not fit into my fuel tank(its too big of course)
any suggestions for a set up would be appreciated

They shorten theirs to fit.
I've had one of these. If you dont want that cold KY jelly on your *** and then get you know what from Larry you will have to install that pump inline further down the fuel system.
Good pump though. Should support atleast 500 hp.

i got that part 
i read that page on the install.
seems pretty good to me! everything is all thought of already. just mount it furthur down then what he says????? or is it ok beside the tank?

I've installed two of these pumps, just install it inline, its not difficult, and works fantastic! It's actually quite quiet when outside of the tank as opposed to intank.
Quiet? You're kidding. Even with rubber around the thing, it vibrates my whole car. When the pump primes people look around and think my car is going to blow up. I must still have it mounted too tightly to the chassis.
